NEW FOR 2008 - The Great Unveiling
The boys at Classic Ford magazine have been scouring the country to find brand-new project cars that will have their premier viewing at this year’s show. So if you’ve been working on something special over the long winter period, now’s your chance to unveil your masterpiece at the Classic Ford Show. You will be interviewed by our very own Bryn Musselwhite on your efforts and will have pride of place in front of the Classic Ford stand where the wraps will come off. Simply send us some images along with your details and information about your project.

Classic Ford only RWYB - £15 for 3 runs
The strip will run from 10am (sign on from 9am) and continue through to 5pm with a break for lunch. The quickest times of the day will win a pile of cash. The winners will be announced at 4pm in front of the Classic Ford magazine stand.

Sideways area - £2 for 5 minutes

Due to the huge success of the Sideways Area at the Classic Ford Show in 2007, the return was inevitable in 2008. Have fun pushing your back end out as you slide your way around the course — it’s play time.

Classic Ford Magazine readers’ car display

This year we have pulled out all the stops to present the best selection of classic Fords in Europe. The Classic Ford magazine crew have been busy working on their display so you can expect a real treat.

Trade & Retail area

New and used Classic Ford spares, body parts, engine parts, carbs, wheels: you name it, the chances are someone will be selling it at the Classic Ford Show, along with a huge autojumble and performance enhancing bits and bobs.

Pride of Ownership

A chance for non-club members to show off their cars. Enter online and have your car displayed on the website or enter on the day at the information tent before 10.30am (judging will commence at 11am).

Classic Ford club display

Clubs travel from all over Europe to be at the Classic Ford show, and are the heart and soul of the event. With over 1200 club cars on display you are bound to find a car to fall in love with.

Best club stand

Improve your clubs finances in 2009. We will be giving the best club stand at this years show a whopping £500 off the price of their stand for 2009. Winner announced at 4pm in front of the Classic Ford magazine stand.

Rally Stage

£5 for a go in your own car or £10 for a passenger ride in a MkII Escort, followed by a go in your own car. The prize for fastest time of day is a half-day introductory course at the London Rally School.

Rolling Road

Test your car’s power and torque on state-of-the-art Dyno Dynamics rollers. A power run is £40, which includes a printout of the results and expert tuning advice.

Best club car

Hotly contested, do you have the best car in your club? Compete against other clubs to win the best club car competition. Sign-up at the information tent before 10.30, judging will start at 11am and the winner will be announced at 4pm in front of the Classic Ford magazine stand

If you’re looking to buy or sell a Classic Ford the Classic Ford Show is the place to be. Cars for Sale passes are £10 from the information desk.
