Your chance to drive with the professionals
The London Rally School returns to the Classic Ford Show this year. This is a fantastic chance for you to take a passenger ride with a professional driver in a MkII Escort. After the passenger ride you can put your own car through its paces, all for £10. Pick up some top tips and driving techniques from guys who really know how to drive and you could win a half day introductory course at the school itself.
The cars - So what's the spec? The MkII Escorts are group 4 spec, running 2.0 pintos producing 150bhp on
Webers. With Atlas axles, Bilstein suspension, Quaife gearboxes, ZF LSD units and Safety
Devices cages. The cars are capable of 120 mph and 0-60 in 6 seconds. Get ready for a
thrilling ride!

The course
The course this year is a challenging special stage on grass featuring fast straights, chicanes, and long sweepers.

Jonnie Wigmore
– Ford Ka Champion, 206 Super Cup Champion and Ford Works Driver in 2004.
Chris Wigmore
– frequent class winner in Mk1 & Mk11 Escorts
Ian McCulogh
– 10 years’ rally experience, many class wins and Ford scholarship winner.
