Classic Ford Show

Headline Sponsor - EBC Brakes

EBC Brakes is excited to be the official sponsor of the Classic Ford Show 2017.

With a worldwide work force of over 400 people, EBC Brakes is an independently owned and managed leader in the brake market, proud of its customers, its products, its success and its people. EBC Brakes produces the largest range of brake pads and brake discs in the world, with many thousands of part numbers for every type of moving vehicle. EBC Brakes are made in one of its two specialist factories in the UK and USA.

With modern trends towards cheap imported brake pads and brake discs, EBC Brakes leads the world in its technology, quality control, product performance and customer service. Our product range includes brake pads for cars, trucks and SUV, brake discs for every rolling vehicle on the planet and even brake pads for wind farms and military applications such as the Humvee, various armoured cars and even tanks, railway brake products and all kinds of industrial vehicle brakes.

As well as aramid fibre brake pads, EBC Brakes also manufactures sintered, ceramic and carbon long life brake pads. The EBC Brakes disc range includes brake discs and pads for cars, motorcycles, mountain bikes and ATVs.

EBC Brakes has no less than 8 dynamometer systems in its two factories representing over $3 million investment in research alone and with its 60 year pedigree of brake material blending you can be sure that brake pads bearing the EBC name will deliver and perform. Environment is equally important to EBC and brake pads made in our factories have every possible consideration for environmental protection.

New items added to the EBC Brakes range over the past 12 months include stainless steel brake lines for both automotive and motorcycle applications.

These UK manufactured high performance braided steel brake lines are 100% pressure tested, guaranteed to be leak free and give a firmer, more responsive feel compared to rubber lines.

All of EBC’s brake lines not only meet their own stringent standards but they are also approved by TÜV, DOT, ADR and ISO.

EBC’s brake line kits are a direct replacement of the original manufacturers lines, therefore, they fit first time, every time – no need for adjusting angles or using universal fittings that do not fit.

During the summer of 2017, EBC Brakes will launch an exciting new range of Apollo Balanced Brake Kits™. These new kits represent the ultimate upgrade in braking performance, offering significant reductions in stopping distances whether used on road or on track.

Every kit is supplied complete with the hardware you need to completely replace all equivalent components of your vehicle’s stock braking system, giving a firmer and more responsive brake pedal, allowing you to drive harder for longer without the onset of brake fade. Every kit is a full vehicle upgrade and is supplied complete with matching friction rear pads to fit the original caliper and braided brake lines for the front and rear, ensuring a totally balanced brake upgrade that delivers maximum braking performance.

These kits feature:

Fully Floating Brake Discs - 2-piece rotors allow the outer ring to expand freely in response to heat. This reduces stress which in turn extends disc life and reduces the tendency for cracking during extreme use.

Brake Lines – Every kit is supplied with EBC’s stainless steel braided brake lines for front and rear. Including both front and rear lines is a market first from EBC Brakes and one that ensures every EBC Balanced Brake Kit™ includes every single piece of hardware you need to give a truly balanced performance brake upgrade.

Brake Pads – Every EBC Balanced Brake Kit™ is supplied with EBC Yellowstuff™ pads for both front and rear axles. Unlike other front “big brake kits”, which solely supply parts for the front axle, EBC includes matching Yellowstuff™ brake pads for the rear axle at zero additional cost.

Apollo Calipers – 2-piece bolted design using high tensile steel bolt reinforcement of the bridge section, bringing significant improvements in caliper bridge stiffness over a mono-block design.

Brake Fluid – Every kit is supplied with 1 litre of BF307+ super DOT4 brake fluid. This fluid has a 307°C boiling point, a significantly higher boiling point than the standard DOT5.1 fluid. To find out more about our extensive range of braking products, please visit our website
