General Questions

Q: What time does the show open?
A: Gates are open to camping ticket holders and those wishing to purchase camping tickets on the gate from 09:00 Saturday 1st June. The show opens at 08:00 Sunday 2nd June to the general public.

Q: Can I gain entry before 12.00pm Saturday?
A: There is a general RWYB on from 09:00 – 17:00 which is run independently.

Q: Will there be a cash point on site?
A: Yes, there is a cash point on site in the pitside Pod Shop. Check your show guide for the location.

Q: Are credit cards accepted on the gate?
A: Yes, credit cards can be used on the gate.

Q: Is the event solely for classic Fords?
A: Yes, it’s a show purely for classic Ford cars.

Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: No animals of any kind are allowed onto the site.

Q: Is there a bar on site?
A: Yes there are bars on site selling alcohol.

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?
A: Yes but it must not be in glass bottles.

Q: Can I bring glass bottles on site?
A: Any type of glass containers are NOT allowed anywhere on site and will be confiscated at the main entrance.

Q: Are there food units on site?
A: There are many food units and a permanent on site cafeteria open throughout the weekend.

Q: Can I sell my car at the show?
A: Yes. Passes can be purchased at the gate or at our information point inside the show ground.

Q: Will there be someone taking photos of the cars for me to purchase on the day?
A: Yes there will be a photographer and more information will be found in our show guide.

Q: Are there any concessions for people with disabilities?
A: As part of our commitment to make the Classic Ford Show accessible to all we will provide those disabled ticket holders that require full time assistance with 1 free ticket for a partner, accompanying friend or personal assistant (PA). You will need to provide a copy of your most recent DLA letter showing your current entitlement and your ‘blue badge’ if car parking is required. On arrival at the show please liaise with the staff on the gates when presenting your entry ticket.

Q: How can I buy a ticket?

Q: Will I be able to buy a ticket on the gate?
A: Yes you can buy both entry and camping tickets on the gate.

Q: My tickets haven’t arrived yet when will I get them?
A: If you have a ticketing issue please call 0871 230 5577 or e-mail event.tickets@futurenet.com

Q: Can I buy RYWB tickets in advance?
A: No, RWYB tickets can only be bought on the day of the event.

Camping Questions

Q: Can we camp the night before?
A: There is camping on site at Santa Pod on Saturday 1st June only. You can arrive on Saturday from 09:00 until 22:00.

Q: Are there toilets on site for campers?
A: Yes there are plenty of toilets on site open 24hrs.

Q: Are there showers on site?
A: Yes there are FREE showers available.

Q: Are there electrical connections on site?
A: No there are not any electrical hook ups available.

Q: Can I bring my caravan/trailer tent/motor home?
A: Yes you can bring any of the above but please note that camping is on grass.

Q: Is there a family/quiet campsite?
A: Yes there is a separate campsite for anyone wanting a quieter area. Please just ask at the gate and you will be given a separate campsite pass.

Q: Can I have a bbq?
A: Yes charcoal bbqs are allowed within the campsites.

Q: Can I have a fire?
A: No fires are allowed on site and will be extinguished by security.

Q: Are there medical services on site?
A: Yes there are 24 hour medical services on site if needed.

Q: Can I park my car next to my tent?
A: Yes you can park next to your tent.

Q: Can I leave site and then come back in?
A: Yes, but you will need a pass out and will not be allowed out after 10pm.

Car Parking Questions

Q: Is there car parking available?
A: Yes, there is a public car park available free of charge.

Q: Is there disabled parking?
A: Yes, there is a disabled parking area, please ask on the gate for a pass and the marshalls will direct you.

Q: Is there any way that I can park my car in the show rather than in the public car park?
A: Only club cars or those entered into the Power & Style Awards or those parking their cars in the Classic Ford-only car park can be displayed in the show.

RWYB

Q: What time does the strip open?
A: The strip is open on Saturday evening exclusively for Classic Fords from 17:30 until 20:00 it then reopens at 09:30 on the Sunday with sign on from 08:30.

Q: Can I take passengers on the quarter mile drag strip with me?
A: Yes. Tickets can be purchased for £10 on the day at the sign-on office. Even as a passenger you will be required to show your full UK (or other EU state) driving licence (both parts unless you have an old paper licence). Tickets valid all day.

Q: Are there any rules or regulations that I need to be aware of?

Q: Do I need a licence to take my car on the quarter mile drag strip?
A: Yes, you will be required to show your full UK (or other EU state) driving licence (both parts unless you have an old paper licence).

Q: My licence is away at the DVLA/Police. Can I bring a photocopy?
A: No, a full original driving licence needs to be seen when signing on.

Q: Is it possible to purchase strip tickets in advance?
A: No, they are only available on the day.

Q: I want to attend with my club display at the show?
A: Please see the dedicated club link.

Q: What time will clubs be allowed access?
A: Club cars will be allowed access from 06.30am providing that you have the relevant tickets and passes.
