Classic Ford magazine
|
|
Just like the show, Classic Ford magazine gets bigger and better as every year passes. The recognised authority on the now-global old Ford scene, Classic Ford continues to search for and profile the best feature cars out there.
|
 |
|
This year we'll be introducing a new feature on our show stand - The Great Unveiling. We'll be selecting the five best projects currently being built, and then revealing them one-
by-one in a special ceremony at the show. We guarantee
you won't have seen these cars before, and they're bound
to knock your socks off.
And, just as the magazine is dedicated to bringing you the
best and most in-depth tech and how-to guides, at the
Classic Ford Show we'll be introducing a series of technical
workshops explaining everything from panel repairs to
major engine transplants.
So, whether you're looking for the best old Ford show of
the year, or the number one magazine dedicated to keeping
your classic Ford alive, we've got it all covered.

Editors testimony
|
|
In a fairly short space of time, the Classic Ford Show has grown to become one of the must
visit events on the Ford calendar.
What's the secret? Everyone's got their own opinion, but I think it's down to the variety - the
show attracts Fords from right across the board, and thanks to the huge number of overseas
visitors who make the trip over every year, there's a strong international flavour, too. Last
year, everyone was wowed by the early (and seriously cool) Taunus Transits that came
over from Germany. This year? You'll just have to wait and see.

The all-important clubs form the backbone of the show, with all cars represented, from
modified Pops and ex-works rally Escorts, to 10,000 miles-from-new MkI Cortinas, and
Capris hiding small-block V8s.
The finest from each of their ranks are assembled for the Best Club Car competition during
the afternoon, and throughout the day there's plenty to see and do, as many of the afore-
mentioned battle it out up Santa Pod's legendary quarter-mile drag strip.
You can expect bargains too, as many of Classic Ford's advertisers form a maze of trade
stands to offer knock-down prices on all sorts of goodies, from panels, wheels and rare trim,
to performance engine components, brake upgrades and uprated suspension.
So, if you want a day of non-stop action and the best cars that the old Ford scene has to
offer, the Classic Ford Show is where it's at.
See you there!
